What earned SPORTENG the ABA100 Award
Much of the submission that secured this recognition centres on our recent work with Peninsula Grammar School in Victoria, delivering a world-class athletics track and synthetic soccer pitch that meets the highest performance standards.
On that project, we guided Peninsula Grammar from feasibility and concept design through to delivery, handling site investigation, design documentation, stakeholder coordination, and on-site superintendent oversight.
The brief was ambitious: to transform existing (but outdated) sporting facilities into a modern, multi-sport precinct suitable for daily use, competitive athletics and high-performance training alike. We designed a synthetic sandwich-profile athletics track compliant with world standards, paired with a FIFA-certified synthetic soccer field built on a vertically draining system for reliable playability regardless of weather conditions.
Our management approach emphasised clear communication, rigorous quality control, stakeholder collaboration and a seamless end-to-end experience for the school; all aspects that evidently resonated with the ABA100 judges and helped secure the Service Excellence award.
